This Design-Build project is located within the 260,728 square foot existing Cicero Records Center warehouse facility in Cicero, IL. The project is to provide for the relocation of existing facilities for the Board of Election’s Hawthorne facility. The project comprises approximately 106,800 square feet. CCJM provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Low Voltage, and Structural Engineering services to separate an area of approximately 84,000 sq. ft. from the Clerk of the Circuit Courts records storage area; 1st-floor storage for 2,050 election booths; new steel-structured mezzanine floor and build-out of approximately 22,800 sq. ft. for offices, training room, storage, workrooms; and, new handicapped accessible elevator and stairs serving the mezzanine.
